As a reminder of the events which happened in 2001, and to show that homosexuals in Slovenia are still second-class citizens, we prepared the 5th anniversary protest mineral water (Radenska) drinking at the Galerija Coffeehouse at Mestni trg 5 in Ljubljana on
Wednesday, June 8 2005, at 8 PM
The act lasted for two hours, and we discussed the situation of homosexuals in Slovenia, the same-sex partnership bill, and the upcoming Pride Parade.

On June 8th, 2001, a bouncer at the Galerija Coffeehouse at the City Gallery in Ljubljana, owned by the City of Ljubljana, forbade poets Brane Mozetič and Jean-Paul Daoust from entering. His argument was to get used to that, that the premises were not for "those people". In the year 2001 we therefore witnessed a ban on entering the coffeehouse on the grounds of sexual orientation. A protest drinking of Radenska mineral water followed at the same coffeehouse, and preparations for the "Road past intolerance - a march against homophobia" which is regarded as the 1st GLBT Pride in Slovenian history.
