As a part of the Inclusive Erasmus+ Project, we are preparing for the next study visit – this time in Romania. Four of our volunteers will spend 6 days in November (4th – 9th) in Bucharest, together with participants from Portugal, Finland and Scotland.
After uncovering how to be more inclusive towards people with different religious beliefs, gender identities, LGBTIQ+ identities and different (dis)abilities, this visit will focus on inclusivity towards people coming from non-urban areas and specifically Roma people. During the project, different Romanian associations will present their work and methods.
In the end of the study visit, the participant group will come up with the set of recommendations on how to make youth programmes more inclusive towards young Roma people and youth coming from rural areas.
