Project Culture of Humiliation

The main objective of the project is to raise awareness of the causes and consequences of bullying and cyberbullying, experienced by young people due to their sexual orientation and/or sexual identity.

The Culture of Humiliation project consists out of a graphic arts exhibition by Antony Karadzoski and Daniel Arzole and interactive workshops.

Young artivist Antoni Karadzoski uses posters as a tool for transferring and displaying his own experience of violence and discrimination based on sexual orientation, to a wider audience. The opening of the exhibition is accompanied by a personal story of someone who has been subjected to peer violence based on sexual orientation and/or sexual identity. The interactive workshop is intended for all visitors of the youth center in order to inform young people about the negative consequences of peer violence.

The project was carried out at the House of the EU, at the Mladinstival, in the Pritličje, in youth centers Mladi zmaji in Črnuče and Bežigrad, Podlaga Youth Centre in Sežana, Zagorje Youth Centre, Ptuj Youth Centre, Celje Youth Center, Veno Pilon Ajdovščina Secondary School.
