From 16 to 24 October 2018 I attended the Training of Facilitators (ToF) of Erasmus+ Youth as a trainer of Ljubljana Pride Pool of Trainers. As a part of the Inclusive Erasmus+ Project, we are preparing for the next study visit – this time in Romania. Four of our volunteers will spend 6 days in November (4th – 9th) in Bucharest, together with participants from Portugal, Finland and Scotland. After uncovering how to be more inclusive towards people with different religious beliefs, gender identities, LGBTIQ+ identities and different (dis)abilities, this visit will focus on inclusivity towards people coming from non-urban areas and specifically Roma people. During the project, different Romanian associations will present their work and methods. In the end of the study visit, the[...]
In June 2018 the European Youth Foundation presented a poster exhibition featuring best practices from projects they supported in 2017 and Culture of Humiliation was one of these best practices. Every year the European Parliament organises a European Youth Event bringing together between 5000-8000 young people from all around Europe. During the project we organised over 10 workshops and over 15 exhibitions of powerful poster art around Slovenia, addressing (cyber)bullying based on sexual orientation and/or gender identity; and still more to come!

Ljubljana Pride Association proudly presents our first published book “Among Them is Music” by Nina Dragičević. Among them is… Dragičević. This time with a new book intervention on music in the construction of a lesbian scene and why you were not where you thought you were.
As Pride Parade Association we started fundraising in 2016, which quickly became an indispensable part of our activities. So far, we had fundraisers traditionally organized in Ljubljana, in clubs Tiffany and Monokel. This year, for the first time, we organized the fundraiser for the Pride Parade in Vienna, in cooperation with the Club of Slovenian Students in Vienna – KSŠŠD (http://www.ksssd.org/). We visited Vienna with Cabaret Tiffany’s Giovanna Serrano and Luca Scadi. After their performance warmed the atmosphere, the program continued with a speech by Simona Muršec, president of the Pride Parade Association, who briefly presented the work and activities[...]
