The OASIS OF FRIENDSHIP project wishes to create a public space for socializing, regardless of all personal circumstances, including sexual orientation. We are going to set up a functional and safe area in Park Tivoli for socializing and recreation and we are going to offer a variety of leisure activities for the visitors. The LGBTIQ associations and other associated organizations will present themselves and their projects. The goal of the OASIS OF FRIENDSHIP is to show the general public the kind role of different groups in the modern Slovenian society play and unite their coexistence in a single spade. Which means we will play cards, badminton, learn shiatsu massage, shoot water pistols, compete in bowling and in games without frontiers, make signs, play with and create with clay, learn about the life and work of the LGBTIQ community and other associations in Slovenia, brush up on our knowledge on HIV/AIDS and sexually transmitted diseases, dance, have fun, have a picnic and more.
